How to Pick Your Senior Photo Location (Without Stressing About It)
So, it’s your turn for senior pictures—yay! Now comes the big question: where are we actually taking these photos?Don’t worry, I’ve got you. Here are some easy tips to help you nail down the perfect spot:
1. What’s your vibe?
Are you city streets and coffee shop cool? Or more fields, flowers, and sunshine? Your location should feel like you, not like you’re borrowing someone else’s style.
2. Outfit check.
Think about what you’re wearing. A flowy dress looks amazing in an open field. A sharp jacket? Downtown walls and modern lines will make it pop. Your clothes and your background should be besties, not enemies.
3. Sentimental wins.
Your high school stadium, the park you always hung out at, even your front porch—those spots tell your story way better than some random place. Plus, you’ll actually feel comfortable there.
4. Double (or triple) up.
One spot can give you a ton of different looks. A downtown block might have brick, greenery, and cool murals all within a few steps. More variety = more options.
5. Light is magic.
Even the coolest spot looks kinda “meh” at the wrong time of day. Golden hour (right before sunset or right after sunrise) = instant glow-up.
6. Let me help.
I’ve scouted all the good spots, so if you’re stuck, I’ll match you with a location that makes you look amazing and feels like you.
